Joint Committee Result
Based on Rules of Implementation and Rules of Procedures for the Joint Committee of JCM, The Joint Committee consists of the echelon two officers from the Government of Indonesia and Government of Japan and act as the highest decision maker in JCM implementation. The Joint Committee may develop or modify the rules and guidelines necessary for the implementation of the JCM, approve proposed methodologies, designate third party entities, register JCM projects, and notify both sides to issue credits for a JCM project.
Joint Committee meeting convenes on regular basis at least once a year. Upon the Joint Committee Meeting, the members from Indonesia and Japan will meet to discuss and if necessary,make decisions related to Joint Crediting Mechanism implementation in Indonesia. Up until now, Joint committee meeting have been conducted 5 times in Indonesia.
